Autumn

As part of our forest school session we learnt about birds and made 'b' for bird feeders. 

We explored our sense of smell through smelling fruit 't' for teas and talking about their scent.

We made pic collage's to describe our special qualities. 

We had fun being scientists during a 'Sparkle Lab' experience. 

Spring

We enjoyed making predictions about what would happen to the skittles to celebrate Valentines day. 

We visited 'Brutons The Bakers' to buy some items to then sample back in class. We explored how they tasted and talked about whether we liked them or not. 

During our forest school session we worked together to spot signs of spring. 

We enjoyed a visited to 'Cefn Mably Farm Park' and learnt about what the animals there like to eat. 

Summer

We enjoyed exploring and learning about seeds. 

We loved making jelly and predicting what would happen when we added hot water to the jelly powder. 

We talked about what happened to the Jelly mixture after it went in the fridge overnight and then enjoyed tasting it.
