Worship and Spirtuality
Faith Matters
As part of the diocese of Llandaff in the Church in Wales, St Paul's CIW Primary School is a community for whom 'Faith Matters'.
Collective Worship
At St Paul's Church in Wales Primary School, the daily act of collective worship is viewed as an integral and important part of school life.
We aim to foster a sense of wonder and contemplation in order to support the spiritual growth of children.
Our worship experiences are diverse and include various elements. Whether it takes place in the hall, the church or elsewhere, our goal remains the same: to ensure that worship meets the needs of all children and contributes to their continuous spiritual development.
Cardiff South Ministry Area
Our school sits within the Cardiff South Ministry Area and our local chuch is St Paul's Grangetown.
Each week, children from the school attend the Wednesday Eucharist Service.
Father Dean comes to school each week to lead collective worship for the school community.
The school holds Eucharistic celebrations both in the school and in the Church to mark important events such as Feast Days and significant moments within the school year.
Spirituality
Developing the spirituality of all of our learners and members of our school communty is really important to us.
Alongside the support from Father Dean, the school also enages with other religious leaders within the community. Children also visit other places of worship within the community to learn from each other.
Developing the spirtuality of all of our community, no matter of the faith or none, is central to all that we do.
